Our performances primarily use British Sign Language with a voice-over or using physical theatre / expressive theatre so as to be accessible for an integrated Deaf and hearing audience.
Through the use of drama, I aim to create high quality yet enjoyable activities, whilst simultaneously achieving the aim of increasing levels of confidence and self-worth for the participants. We also aim to encourage talent and creativity.
The Rainbow Elves and the Shoemaker is a colourful and uplifting fairy tale. The Shoemaker and his wife are very poor and need money to buy food and warm their home. One morning, they are astonished to find a beautiful pair of shoes on their kitchen table. But who has made them? The magical Rainbow Elves! Come along and meet these colourful characters, and join in with this magical tale. This performance is accessible for deaf and hearing audience.
