Rose Betts

  • L Fest 2017 LE12 5SQ (map)

Rose Betts is a Singer/Songwriter based in London.

Currently residing in South London with her band, she’s been tirelessly refining her skills and taking SOFAR Sounds by storm.

Taking inspiration from the rain running in SW12 gutters, the moon rising over Camberwell and winter in a bustling city. There’s an unshakable, wholesome quality about Rose that makes her music, her sound and presence feel so wonderful.

She writes alone, but when she plays to an audience she brings them together with soaring melodies and beautifully crafted lyrics that not only capture the imagination but connect with the soul.

This girl and her piano defiantly blur genres, demand attention and for a minute, make you forget the mania of modern life.

2016 has seen Rose go from strength to strength with the release of three singles, a music video launch at The Ivy in central London and a sold out performance at the Courtyard Theatre for her single launch of “Orange Trees”. She has had high profile radio play with Edith Bowman playing “I Can Never Give My Heart” on BBC Radio 2 and “Orange Trees” being selected by BBC Introducing Herts. Most recently she supported The Milk for their sold out show at the Union Chapel. 2016 also saw the release of her first official EP “The Stars Look Down”.
