MIRI began a career in music after leaving school and making a short film featuring two of her songs and gaining interest from a music publishing company. She grew up listening to an eclectic range of music. This contributed to her soulful pop sound that blends silky soft and gritty vocals with thought provoking lyrics. Pop songs that speak indie.
Three of MIRI's songs feature in the British Film "Fear Of Water" which screened at the International Women's Film Festival in LA whilst her track "Broken City" has received radio airplay on BBC London.
MIRI co promotes and co hosts acclaimed monthly live music night "Blue Monday" at The Boogaloo in North London, this year also collaborating with award winning music venue Green Note on a sold out event called "Girls To The Front". MIRI has performed in Ireland, Europe and the UK including 100 Club for The Official Bob Marley Birthday Celebration, artist Natty's Vibes & Pressure event at Passing Clouds, supporting American folk artist Laura Veirs at Bush Hall and Heather Peace in Newcastle as well as Manchester Pride and L Fest.
MIRI recorded her third EP "Sound Vibrations" at the beginning of the year. "I worked with my wish list of music producers, a producer for each song. This helped in creating a different unique feeling and flow for each track.
