Kerry Leigh

Kerry Leigh has been making people laugh for over ten years, working with Laughing Cows Comedy since 2004, currently hosting their successful Manchester and Stockport shows where she befriends the audiences each month.

“What disarms you is her honesty and her humility. She's as relaxed on stage as you imagine she'd be chatting at the bar and her banter makes you feel like a trusted friend whose just made you piss your tenna lady. Again. More Kerry Leigh. No really - MORE for the love of God." - Rachel Morris   Cosmopolitan Magazine Sex Therapist & Big Brother Psychotherapist

During the Women in Comedy Festival in October 2013 both her solo shows sold out. Audiences howled at her tales of social wrongness, marvelled at her creation of a poem about the audience during the show and were treated to impressions of different kinds of cheese. Yes, that’s right – cheese.

“She builds instant rapport with an audience...Quick witted and quirky, Kerry gets everyone involved when she is MC-ing, but is never cruel...her honest and identifiable comedy is reminiscent of the very best of nights out with that hilarious and hapless friend who is always happy to share their latest mishap. Kerry’s trademark of creating an original poem about each night that she MCs ensures that the audience leave with aching sides, safe in the knowledge that they’ve been part of something truly live, created before their eyes.” - Isla Wilson Ruby Star Associates.

Britpop, toured nationally to critical acclaim and she has appeared at WOW (Women of the World) Festival and Polari Literary Salon at London’s Southbank Centre. Lara A King

Award winning stand up comedienne Lara A King combines sharp humour, uplifting melodies, lyrical wordsmithery and very clever silliness to hilariously observe the baffling absurdities of life, love and the ladies. She sings like an angel and will make you laugh until a little bit of wee comes out.

It’s like Ellen DeGeneres meets K.D Lang and they somehow create a love child with John Hegley. Even though they’re lesbians. Not John Hegley of course. He’s a man.

“A chilled out Victoria Wood...witty, charming and very funny - a real gem.” - BROADWAY BABY
“Outstanding, side-splittingly funny; relatable comedy at its best” -  REVIEWLAND
“Feckin’ brilliant” - DILLIE KEANE, FASCINATING AIDA.

Barbara Nice

”You’re guaranteed the best night out with a woman old enough to be your mother that you`ve had in a long time!" - British Theatre Stage.

We are back again with Mrs. Barbara Nice, the much loved headline act in Britain.

Some of you will have seen Barbara in year 1, but we had to bring her back now we have so many more women to watch her!

“Barbara Nice truly is the peoples Princess...she is a monument to triumph over adversity and a beacon to ordinary people". Mother of Five from Stockport, she believes in bargains and getting the most out of life –Ergonomically correct she doesn`t drive and travels the country by National Express coach – her husband knows nothing of her burgeoning comedy career – he thinks she`s either at Bingo or dog sitting.

“The malapropism spouting Stockport Housewife is a force of nature – energetically cajoling the audience to take part in her hare brained stunts and injecting an unbeatable air of fun and excitement into the room - Chortle
“Hilarious. Whatever she does" - Manchester On line.

Les Kershaw

This act is best described as ‘Butch meets the menopause’.

Les Kershaw is a new comer to the comedy circuit. Les has supported Kerry Leigh in her one woman show as part of the Women in Comedy Festival in 2013 and a recent headliner with Laughing Cows. Les will share with you her hilarious journey through the menopause where she finds new interests such as 'a little bit of light dusting' dogging and badge making.

"I have had the pleasure of watching Lesley's stand up debut and her consequent steady rise on the comedy circuit. Audiences love her dry, Northern patter delivered with confidence. VERY funny."
